Emergency Care and Safety Institute

Staff Medics LLC is proud to announce its affiliation with Emergency Care and Safety Institute  (ECSI). As a new training center we will now be offering classes in:  First Aid, CPR, AED, Wilderness first aid, along with many more. 

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR Course

Learn emergency skills and essentials of becoming the “first link” in the chain of survival. Our first aid and CPR courses are combined into one course which allows you to function with a set of priorities. You will learn the same priorities of care and approach to the patient used by professional emergency care providers.

This course provides instruction for:

* General responsibilities * Environmental Emergencies * Blood borne pathogen concerns

* Rescue Breathing & PPE * Illness assessment & Treatment * CPR Adult & Child

* Injury Assessment & Treatment * Two year certification

Instruction is provided with video, text, and class participation. Participants will receive a Reference guide/class book, and an American Heart Association Certification card.

Satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151

DURATION: 3-4 Hours. Classes are scheduled for up to 10 people per instructor.


Automated External Defibrillators, (AED) Certification

Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in occupational settings and a defibrillator is the only definitive treatment for it. The course is designed to meet national medical guidelines and national and state requirements for AED training.

Training Includes:

*Integrating the use of the AED with CPR *Good Samaritan Laws and AED’s *Chain of Survival

*Basic AED Operation *Two Year Certification

Instruction is provided with video, text, and hands on class participation. Participants will receive a Reference guide/class book, CD for refresher training, and an American Heart Association AED Certification Card.

DURATION: 2.5-3 Hours.


Forklifts, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, & Powered Pallet Jack Certifications

A forklift accident can cost your company thousands of dollars in damaged products, wrecked equipment, and injured workers. Plus it is an OSHA requirement of any employee driving a powered industrial truck in their workplace to be certified for that particular place of employment.

Training includes:

*General and safety operations *Stacking and un-stacking *Inspection procedures *Traveling with a load

*Loading and unloading *Parking procedures

Curriculum will be tailored to suit the specific needs of the work environment and equipment. All students must take a written and driving test to complete their certification. A wallet card will be issued.

Satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 requirements for certification.

DURATION: Formal instruction 1 Hour. Allow approximately 10 minutes for each driving evaluation.


Bloodborne Pathogens

10 & 30 Hour OSHA Standards Compliance

OSHA 10 Hour Training course is ideal for supervisors with safety and health responsibilities, and for employee safety and health awareness. Students will be introduced to a plethora of OSHA policies and regulatory compliance related procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health provisions. The specific safety and health principles come from the OSHA Act Part 1910 and mandates that general industry workers complete the 10 Hour General Industry training course.

Once you have completed and passed the course objectives, you’ll be rewarded with the OSHA General Industry 10-Hour Course Completion Card. This will certify that you have 100% complied with this safety directives that were mandated by OSHA and the Department of Labor.


The OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Course thoroughly covers and complies with the requirements set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) for all general industry-based workers in the United States. As the name implies the course details and explains worker safety and workplace safety protocols in the general industry. After passing the final test with a score of 70% or greater, you are then rewarded with the 30 Hour General Industry Course Completion Card
